The things people want to know before they walk in

Sundays at 8:30 and 11:00 AM. Both gatherings hear the same sermon; the 8:30 is quieter and includes Communion every week, and the 11:00 has the choir. There is a formation hour in between at 9:45.

Whatever you already own. You will see jackets, jeans, and everything between, and nobody is keeping notes.

There is a free lot behind the sanctuary with the entrance on Habersham Street, and street parking along Oglethorpe Avenue is open on Sunday mornings.

Grove Kids meets during both gatherings for children from birth through grade five. Check-in is the first table on the left inside the Oglethorpe doors and opens half an hour early. Children stay with you for the beginning of the service and are dismissed together.

An offering is received during the service, and guests are not expected to give. Nothing is handed to you personally, and there is no follow-up if you do not.

No. We do not ask visitors to stand, wear a name tag, or introduce themselves from their seat.

No. Membership matters for voting at a congregational meeting and not much else. Care, counsel, the table, and the pantry are open to anyone who walks in.

There is a level ramp at the Habersham door, an elevator down to the fellowship hall, accessible seating at the front and back of the sanctuary, and large-print bulletins at both entrances.

The church stands in the Reformed tradition, and that shapes how we read scripture and order the service. You are welcome here long before you agree with any of it — ask a pastor and you will get a straight answer rather than a pamphlet.

Most start with a small group meeting in a home somewhere in the city, or by showing up to the Saturday pantry. Both are easier than they sound, and neither requires a commitment past the day itself.
